Filters for Compressors – Outdoors with weather cover
Overview
Inlet Filter for Air Blowers
A robust cartridge inlet filter designed to protect air blowers from airborne dust and contaminants, helping maintain clean airflow and reliable blower performance. Available with connection sizes from 1″ to 4″ as standard, the FAT range provides airflow capacities from 85 to 1,400 m³/h.
A choice of filter media is available, including paper, polyester, stainless steel, separator and activated carbon, allowing the filtration to be matched to the application. Each unit includes a PVC connection spool and is 100% safety tested before and after painting.
Key features: compact cartridge design, high dust-collection capability, multiple filtration media options, airflow capacities up to 1,400 m³/h in the standard range, and connection sizes suitable for a wide range of industrial air blowers.

Technical Features
Technical Features
- High-efficiency filtration – paper elements provide 99%+ removal efficiency at 2 micron, with polyester media offering 99%+ efficiency at 5 micron.
- Low pressure drop – the internal airflow path is designed to maximise airflow while minimising restriction, helping maintain blower performance and efficiency.
- Wide connection range – configurations are available with threaded or flanged connections to suit different blower sizes and installation requirements.
- Durable construction – corrosion-resistant coated carbon-steel housings provide protection for demanding industrial environments, with stainless-steel construction available for selected applications.
- Weather-resistant design – protective inlet hoods help shield the filter element from direct exposure to environmental contaminants and moisture.
- Replaceable filter elements – serviceable cartridge elements allow straightforward routine maintenance without replacing the complete filter assembly.
- Multiple filtration media – paper, polyester and specialist media options can be selected according to the operating environment. The IVACO data sheet additionally lists stainless steel, separator and activated-carbon options.
- Operating temperature – continuous operating range of approximately -26°C to +104°C, dependent on filter configuration and media.
- Filter servicing indication – recommended element change at approximately 37–50 mbar differential pressure above the initial pressure drop.
- Broad airflow capability – suitable for everything from compact blower installations through to high-volume industrial air systems.
